Took down a $33r 2xR last night to win my $5200 wcoop ME seat early.  Yes these things have a lot of crapshoot element in them and if people played them well (which isnt hard to do) they wouldn’t really be worth entering.  But luckily for me people play these particularly badly.  The fish play the latter stages in a way that makes them dead money and most of the better tournament players completely misunderstand the early game.  The result is sexy equity in a tourney that is both quick and fun.  What more can a man ask for.

Well… a result in the upcoming GUKPT luton would be nice, this series being one which i have so far completely failed to make an impression on.  I leave tomorrow.

Early beat.  Impossible to find a decent-ish hotel in the area.   Certainly nothing I could commit myself to blind for 10 days.  So I’ve booked 2 nights at one and will reconsider once there.  It’s only 90 minutes away on the train so i could commute each day and just chill there until 5am or so if i miss the last train home.  This would force me to be on a good sleep schedule and yet i’m somehow not finding this alternative appealing.
