rd should be an open fold but I was feeling frisky.
th I can only continue cos they both caught high.
th the Ac looks like the perfect scare card for him but as odd as it is to put someone on 99 in a split pot game I feel it’s squarely in his range and 100% of his previous range is obviously betting this street. I caught a K and the J has to be a brick for detwan so again I think I can call.
th even if we knew he had it we’re drawing to the AK heart flush draw and will not be folding. With the 8c dead and the Ac on his board it’s pretty hard for him to have a low draw on 6th ([6c 7c] 9c seems only possibility). The Ah hitting my hand discounts him having started AA9. So his hand is starting to look more and more like 99. He could have a club in his hand but again which one would make him love his 99 pre? Ac is dead, 8c is dead. that leaves 7c and Tc. It’s starting to look like he really doesn’t have it. Of course without the Ah hitting me it’s very very hard to continue but now I know I’m in till showdown and was planning to checkraise any heart and snapcall his bet on anything else
th: The reason I was planning on snap-calling his river bet as he should be following through any 6th street semibluff miss as my hand is effectively faceup at this point. It’s impossible for me have anything other than JJ/KK and a heart on 6th and so I have a low draw 0% of the time.
He saves $400 by checking but as 99 is good here…. never, he’s just giving up on a $4k pot when a bet has an excellent chance to succeed against most players. When he did check I assumed the T had won me the pot and he’d checked back a rivered two pair. (which may not be the best thing to do anyway)
