For whatever reason I’ve barely played sunday majors over the last few years.  I’m not that comfortable with a ton of tables, tournaments are retarded, etc, but theres also been a nagging suspicion that I might suck at tourneys.  A few weeks ago I realised that not playing the sunday million consistently would feature prominently in the ebook I’m writing “Mistakes I’ve made” by Andrew Robert Tard.  Even if I did suck this field was much much worse.

Yesterday I was googling one of my screen names and came across a report from December ‘07 where I final tabled a european online championship event.  I’d forgotten about it completely.  Actually I final tabled 2 of them.  And 2 GCSOP events from that June.  And a UBOC event.  The online World championships have been a dismal and extremely expensive failure for me, but I’ve done well in european events and smaller festivals.  Last year I made 3 WSOP FTs.  Hell, for the casual volume I put in I’ve got some sweet results.

So Sunday will be my tourney day for a while.

Today’s schedule looked like this:

5:45 Party $215

Warmup $215

6:30 $216 San Remo Satellite

7pm: E150 DTD

9:30 $215 Million

$215 UB

10pm $216 FTP

00:45 $215 HORSE Stars

1:30 $215 O8

$215 HORSE FTP

that’s almost a grown up schedule.

Of course I lost AA vs QQ early in party 300k to set the tone.  439th in the warmup for $400 and 17th in the stars HORSE for $300 were my only cashes and leave me down $1500 ish for the day.

And that was a 15 hr day with 12 hrs continuous play.

Bloody sundays.
